Getting Back into Writing

Doing a lot of thinking about my creative goals for this year. I don't think I have many, but I've picked up a few analog things this year when I've mostly been a digital artist for a while now, so that's a good thing.

One thing I really want to do is get back into writing even if it's just fan fiction. There are a few projects I've had in the backburner for a while now, but I kind of stopped writing completely for a while. I'm dealing with a lot of complicated and gross feelings lately, so I feel like writing should be good for me...in theory...

I guess that's partially why I wanted to start blogging. I was microblogging for years on good old Tumblr and still use it, but I think I've really enjoyed the peace and quiet that other blogging platforms offer. I worry frequently about articulating myself perfectly when I should just focus on getting my words out at all--they can be perfected later.

Anywho, my goals this year are:

• Do some regular longform blogging and practice articulating myself better.
• Finish some fanfiction this year.
• Write more poetry and read classic poetry.
